    **Role Overview:**

    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Data to lead our data management and analytics initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of data strategy, governance, and analytics to drive business growth and enhance operational efficiency.

    **Key Responsibilities:**

    Develop and implement a comprehensive data strategy aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements.

    Lead and manage a team of data analysts, scientists, and engineers to ensure the effective execution of data initiatives.

    Establish and enforce data governance policies and procedures to maintain data integrity, security, and compliance.

    Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and prioritize data-driven opportunities for business optimization and innovation.

    Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of data infrastructure, including data warehouses, lakes, and pipelines.

    Drive the development and implementation of advanced analytics and machine learning models to support decision-making and risk management processes.

    Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of data initiatives and drive continuous improvement.

    Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in data management, analytics, and insurance to inform strategic decision-making.

    **Qualifications:**

    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field; Master's degree preferred.

    Proven experience (X+ years) in a senior leadership role overseeing data management, analytics, and/or business intelligence functions within the insurance industry.

    Extensive knowledge of data governance, data architecture, and data modeling principles and best practices.

    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a demonstrated ability to translate data into actionable insights.

    Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis using programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.

    Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView.

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.

    Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve organizational goals.
