    Information about the position

    Join Vinted's Programs organisation, where we're driving impactful initiatives across our Marketplace. Our Programs team focuses on a select few high-impact projects spanning beyond individual product domains. Current programs include our pioneering efforts in Luxury Fashion, where we've launched a cutting-edge item verification service, alongside Geographical Expansion and M&A Integrations. Led by dedicated Program leaders, each initiative collaborates closely with product teams to achieve success.

    As the Manager of Data Science and Analytics for Programs, you'll lead a dedicated team supporting various initiatives from inception to execution. With a focus on data-driven decision-making, you'll help drive product development, prioritise opportunities, establish experimentation practices, and define key metrics and OKRs. Together with your team, you'll ensure our Programs operate efficiently and effectively.

    This role offers ample opportunities to shape long-term vision, build a talented team, foster a vibrant team culture, and establish streamlined processes. Given the cross-functional nature of our programs, you'll collaborate closely with stakeholders across Product domains, the Strategy team, and Marketplace Leadership, making a tangible impact on our company's growth trajectory.     In this position, youll

  • Drive Programs data vision and collaborate closely with the Program leaders to create a winning strategy for each Program
  • Hire, recruit and support the growth of your team of decision scientists and analytics engineers
  • Create a systematic way of leveraging data insights, reporting and experimentation to effectively run Programs
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define objectives, key results and establish shared priorities
  • Contribute to a culture of curiosity and experimentation
  • Set and maintain best practices of high-performing data teams

    • About you

  • Experience leading data teams (ideally developing digital and/or data products)
  • BSc or MSc and at least 6 years of industry experience
  • Knowledge of at least one statistical programming language (Python, R, etc.)
  • Knowledge of SQL and experience with dashboarding tools (e.g. Looker, Tableau, etc.)
  • Demonstrated experience leveraging data and insights for business value and impact
  • Great communication, stakeholder management, and teamwork skills
  • An excellent communicator, including in written and spoken English
  • Advantage: Experience in product and/or strategy
