Business Development Director
Summary of Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Director level "Account Executive" to sell the full suite of Cognizant's services and solutions (including Custom Application Development & Maintenance, Engineering & Testing Services, Infrastructure Solutions, Business Consulting Services, Business Process Services, and Information Technology Services) for our Product & Resources vertical. The Account Executive is focused on scaling acquisition accounts before transitioning these to a larger Client Leadership team. Focus is on hunting opportunities within acquisition accounts, operating as the account lead where no Client Partner is assigned.
Role Responsibilities
·Leverage connects with CXOs in starting new relationships with new customers for Cognizant in Products & Resources Segment
·Driving growth through hunting new opportunities
·Establish connects with Analyst, Third party Advisors & Partners
·Developing and implementing strategic account plans to achieve sales targets - Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders
·Conducting market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities
·Collaborating with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and timely delivery of products/services
·Providing regular reports and updates on sales activities and performance
·Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
·Meeting and exceeding sales targets and KPIs
·Driving growth through hunting new opportunities
·Establish connects with Analyst, Advisors & Partners
·Leverage connects with CXOs in opening new logos and doors for Cognizant in P&R industry.
Experience & Skills
·15+ years' experience selling digital services, around Applications Development & Maintenance, Data, and Cloud or Information Technology Outsourcing.
·7+ years' experience working for a Global Consulting or SI Firm, Onshore/Offshore sales.
·Demonstrated success selling deals in the $2 to $50M range.
·Demonstrated consecutive quarterly and yearly quota achievement in complex selling environments utilizing a solution-selling model.
·Ability to speak local languages is a plus
