    Opportunity:

    You will be joining BLAFC, advising businesses on best practices and standards for risk-mitigation reflecting applicable provisions of the German AML Act, German Banking Act and applicable laws in each jurisdiction where the business line operates. BLAFC drives divisional and cross-regional harmonization of AFC for DB's businesses by facilitating development of globally consistent strategies / responses to issues and supporting cross-regional initiatives.

    • Your Key Responsibilities:

    Working with the Global Cash Business Partner to provide advice on AFC-related matters involving the Business line, including:

  • Prospects, client, and/or related parties risk;
  • Emerging risks from new technologies, business/industry trends such as digital currencies, payment systems, etc;
  • Regulatory developments globally related to AFC
  • Updates impacting AFC-related end-to-end processes
  • Drive divisional harmonization, identify cross-regional trends, and support cross-regional initiatives on AFC regulatory and policy requirements
  • Participate in design / development of the strategic direction of the Business line, providing input on AFC risk of new products, customer and other growth strategies
  • Represent AFC on relevant projects and initiatives across Deutsche Bank, e.g providing education on related AFC risk and considerations. Support Global Product lead for Cash on AFC projects for both business lines and wider initiatives as required

    • Your skills and experience :

  • Previous AFC or Business experience within financial services or related control functions, with a proven track record
  • Understanding of financial crime risks related to Corporate Cash Management
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements and expectations for the identification / understanding / mitigation of financial crime risk in cash management globally
  • Ability to build good working relationships with internal / external stakeholders
  • Demonstrate integrity in all dealings with colleagues, customers, regulators and other professionals; drive and promote the company values and ethical framework
  • Knowledge of German to business level an advantage, but not a prerequisite

    Sie werden Teil der BLAFC und beraten dabei Unternehmen rund um Best Practices und Standards für die Risikominderung gemäß GwG, KWG, sowie den anwendbaren Gesetzen in jedem Land, in dem Corporate Cash Management (CCM) tätig ist. BLAFC ist dabei bestrebt die bereichsspezifische und überregionale Harmonisierung der AFC-Regelungen voranzutreiben, indem sie die Entwicklung global konsistenter Strategien / Antworten auf gemeinsame Problemstellungen unterstützt und überregionale Initiativen fördert.

    • Aufgabenbeschreibung:

    Zusammenarbeit mit dem Global Cash Business Partner, um Beratung zu AFC-bezogenen Angelegenheiten im Zusammenhang mit dem CCM-Geschäftsfeld bereitzustellen, mitunter:

  • Risiken in Bezug auf Neukunden, Kunden und/oder verbundene Parteien;
  • Neu entstehende Risiken in Bezug auf neue Technologien, Wirtschaft-/Industrietrends (z.B.: digitale Währungen), Zahlungssysteme usw.
  • Globale (aufsichts)rechtliche AFC-Entwicklungen
  • Neuerungen, die sich auf AFC-bezogene End-to-End-Prozesse auswirken
  • Förderung der Harmonisierung innerhalb des CCM-Geschäftsbereichs, sowie Herausarbeitung und Unterstützung überregionaler Trends und Initiativen in Bezug auf regulatorische und politische AFC-Anforderungen
  • Mitwirkung an der Konzeption / Entwicklung der strategischen Ausrichtung der Business Line, Bereitstellung von Input in Bezug auf AFC-Risiken neuer Produkte, Kunden und andere Wachstumsstrategien
  • AFC bei relevanten Projekten und Initiativen in der gesamten Deutschen Bank vertreten, z.B.: bei Schulungen zu AFC-Risiken. Nach Bedarf, Unterstützung des Global Product Lead on Cash bei AFC-Projekten im Rahmen umfassenderer Initiativen

    • Fähigkeiten & Erfahrungen:

  • Nachweisliche Vorkenntnisse in AFC- oder Geschäftseinheiten innerhalb der Finanzdienstleistungsbranche oder verwandten Kontrollfunktionen
  • Verständnis der Finanzkriminalitätsrisiken innerhalb des Corporate Cash Management
  • Verständnis der regulatorischen Anforderungen und Erwartungen zur Ermittlung/Eindämmung der Finanzkriminalitätsrisiken im weltweiten Cash-Management
  • Fähigkeit zum Aufbau guter Arbeitsbeziehungen mit internen und externen Interessengruppen
  • Integrität im Umgang mit Kollegen, Kunden, Regulierungsbehörden und anderen Fachleuten; die Werte und den ethischen Rahmen des Unternehmens voranzutreiben und zu fördern
  • Berufsbezogene Deutschkenntnisse sind von Vorteil, aber keine Voraussetzung
