- Develop and implement a regional MarCom plan per country, combining the central strategy and local demands.
- You manage and execute all MarCom-related activities within your region and its countries, from organising fairs to writing content.
- Guard and monitor the plans and activities, and make sure they are conducted within the regional budget.
- Build internal relationships with country colleagues, giving leadership and support in the local fulfilment of local marketing activities and where needed, set up a community of local marketing ambassadors.
- You are your region's go-to person for MarCom, and you manage all stakeholders involved in regional marketing strategy and execution.
- Gather impactful content for various regional and central campaigns, provide input and support for the central content calendar and maintain internal communication channels (intranet, newsletter).
- Measure regional marketing performance against KPI targets, research and evaluate current comms channels and suggest country and group-based improvements.
- Organize (non-)commercial events and support Business Development and HR with lead generation and employer branding.
- Ensure consistency in brand messaging, both visual and written, in the delivery of activities, ensuring alignment with the overall Group.
- Collaborate in SEO, SEA and offline projects, initiated and managed by Central MarCom.
- Support and conduct occasional country market research.
- Communicate regularly with the central MarCom team on your plans, news, and developments in your region, helping to align overall activities
- You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in B2B marketing. 10+ years and proven track record in regional marketing for the role of Senior.
- You like to work internationally and are fluent in English. Knowledge of a local central or east European language is a plus.
- Organised self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects and work to deadlines.
- You like to connect with various people and stakeholders and have the proactive attitude needed to get things done and identify business and marcom opportunities.
- Problem-solving attitude and good at prioritising daily.
- Hands-on experience with marketing automation and CRM systems, preferably HubSpot.
- Minimum writing skills with the possibility to outsource copywriting and final editing.
- Well-versed in applications such as Microsoft Office, social media platforms and digital marketing tools and dashboards.
- Willing to travel 2-3 times per quarter throughout the region (e.g. Organisational and Event purposes).

In the role of Regional Marketeer, you take place as the owner of your region 'Central-East' within the European MarCom department. The total MarCom department consists of three regional marketers and a central MarCom team in Venlo comprising six marketers. The central team sets out the group MarCom strategy which contains three domains (Digital, branding & communication) and provides support to the regional marketers and other departments.
How will you make an impact?
You are the marketing ambassador in your region, managing stakeholders on all levels and initiating and executing marketing campaigns and activities. You are translating group marketing strategies to a regional action plan, and combining it with local initiatives based on needs in your region to create a consistent and balanced group/local strategy and range of activities. You will do this towards internal and external audiences, across existing and future communication channels. You are the go-to person in your region regarding all assets of marketing, communication and (employer) branding.
Our marketing activities are a part of our commercial process, and as such, you will cooperate closely with the regional commercial Team (including managing directors, sales- and KA managers). You report to the Manager Marketing & Communication and Regional Executive Director while keeping close contact with the central marcom team and other regional marketers to remain supported and aligned. We offer a position full of variety with challenges and responsibilities in different fields.

We're seeking someone with the aim and drive needed to work in a progressive, pan-European, family business. An experienced, pro-active, all-round marketeer who knows how to transfer a message, create fruitful networks in various countries and cultures and knows how to execute, support and organise various marcom tasks.
You do so independently or collaboratively by involving relevant colleagues, stakeholders, and partners. You feel comfortable working in a matrix organisation.
It's more important that you have experience in B2B Marketing than to know about transport and logistics. However, you should be eager to get acquainted with this specific industry.
