Our sales teams are regionally divided into four regions responsible for SME and MidCorp segments, where self-employed and Micro clients are served centrally.

The regional office is focused on the service models Guided and Relationship Banking.

For our Guided Banking service model, Business Advisors are transaction based involved with value-added advice and provide service support to core clients.

For our Relationship Banking service model, we work with a sectoral focus for clients with complex banking product needs at the top end of the business market as well as the large SME clients.

For both service models we service the broad product spectrum from Financial Markets, Payments, Lending, Lease, Real Estate Finance and Commercial Finance.


Within Business Banking, we are building a performance culture of taking final responsibility, trusting your colleagues, and putting client and team interests central to everything we do.

We work with multidisciplinary teams with colleagues who work together to exceed client expectations.

As a Region Director South-East you will report to the Head of Business Banking Sales NL and you become part of the lead team Business Banking Sales NL.


Your key responsibilities


In your position you would be ultimately responsible for sales to our clients within Guided and Relationship Banking in the region South-East (working location: Eindhoven).


  • You directly manage the Leads Guided Banking Sales and Relationship Banking Sales and you are responsible for the Business Advisors, Relationship Managers and the Associates;
  • You are responsible for the P&L of the region and you determine the ambition for the teams in your market area. You facilitate and inspire the teams to achieve the ambitions. You have a good insight into regional developments and the competitive market, and you know how to respond proactively. You do this in close cooperation with the other segments/divisions of ING in your region;
  • You are visible in regional networks (for example towards Brainport Eindhoven) and at management/DGA level you are actively involved with the largest clients and also in more complex transactions. You have an important role as a trusted advisor and financial partner for our top clients. You understand the client's strategic agenda and you have an excellent sense of what drives the client;
  • You are responsible for our client satisfaction in your market area and you know the decision makers and influencers at the largest clients and can interact with them at the highest level;
  • You are responsible for risk management and riskreward in the client portfolio within the region and you ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations in all respects;
  • You are an enthusiastic ambassador for the Orange Behaviors.
