Microbiologist

PROMICOL is a company in the biotech segment with laboratories, robotics and production facilities in the Sittard-Geleen region of the Netherlands.

PROMICOL was founded in 2000 and has extensive research and development know-how. The company focuses on ATP technology in the food safety, clinical and pharmaceutical industries.

PROMICOL is actively involved in the development of new technologies and continuously evaluates and updates its existing technologies. In this way, PROMICOL aims to stay ahead of the rapidly changing needs of its customers.

The PROMICOL Food and PCP segment operates in the industrial microbial control markets through a well-established distribution network. These distributors are located in Europe, Australia, Asia, South America and the Middle East. Distributors are regularly trained to advise customers on the PROMICOL system.

Due to strong professional growth, Promicol is looking for reinforcement for the position
:Microbiologist (M/F/d)

We are looking for a motivated and required PhD in Microbiology, Enzyme Technology or with good knowledge in Microbiology and ATP Bioluminescence.

2+ years of industry or postdoctoral experience preferred.

Collaborate with R&D team members and external partners on assay development and evaluation projects related to rapid identification and detection of microorganisms.

Design and conduct experiments in laboratory to evaluate, develop and optimize assays; pay attention to detail when recording and reviewing de results.

Problem solving, collaborative thinking with our distributors and end users to find the ideal solution.


Profil:

• PhD in microbiology, biology or biochemistry is preferred.
• Proactive, selfinitiative potential and handson mentality.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
