    Field Service Engineer UPS Neem je volgende carrièrestap bij ABB met een wereldwijd team dat de transformatie van de maatschappij en de industrie stimuleert om een productievere, duurzame toekomst te realiseren.

    De Business Area Electrification Products is gespecialiseerd in de verkoop van elektrische componenten die gebruikt worden in de industriële, residentiele en in de tertiaire sector. Haar productengamma omvat alle mogelijke componenten voor verdeelborden van gebouwen, industrie en woningen, alsook domoticasystemen, contactoren, soft starters en vermogenautomaten. Onze belangrijkste klanten zijn de electro-groothandel, OEM's, systeem integratoren, installateurs, engineering bureaus en eindklanten.

    Binnen deze Business Area houdt de afdeling UPS Products zich bezig met de verkoop en het onderhoud van UPS Systemen. Dit zijn onderbrekingsvrije noodstroom systemen voor onder andere computer ruimtes en data centers. Binnen deze afdeling zijn we op zoek naar twee Field Service Engineers.

    In deze rol is het je taak om onze UPS oplossingen op een professionele wijze bij de klanten te plaatsen, te installeren, te onderhouden en eventuele storingen op te lossen. In deze rol start je met een intensieve UPS training, om een gecertificeerd UPS engineer te worden. Je zal vanuit je woonplaats naar klanten gaan.

    Jouw verantwoordelijkheid
    • Het in bedrijf stellen en testen van nieuwe UPS installaties.
    • Het geven van technische adviezen c.q. trainingen met betrekking tot onderhoud en veiligheid.
    • Je bouwt actief mee aan een moderne, dienstverlenende serviceorganisatie.
    • Je lost storingen bij klanten op.
    • Door het verzekeren van klant tevredenheid zal je een belangrijke bijdrage leveren aan de groei en het succes van de ABB UPS oplossingen in de Nederlandse markt.
    Jouw achtergrond
    • Je beschikt over een MBO diploma in de richting elektrotechniek of elektronica.
    • Ervaring in de UPS branche is een pre.
    • Je kunt gestructureerd en accuraat werken, daarnaast is stressbestendigheid ook belangrijk omdat onze systemen, uitsluitend kritische installaties beschermen.
    • Je bent klantgericht, je hebt een representatieve uitstraling en een goede uitdrukkingsvaardigheid.
    • Je bezit een groot verantwoordelijkheidsgevoel en bent flexibel.
    • Je hebt ervaring met MS Office (o.a. Word, Excel).
    • Je bent in bezit van VCA Vol of bereid dit te halen.
    • Je beheerst het Nederlands en het Engels.
    • Omdat de werkzaamheden zich voornamelijk bij de klanten afspelen, zal je een bedrijf bus worden aangeboden. Rijbewijs B is dus vereist.
    • Gezien de aard van de functie, is flexibiliteit ten aanzien van werktijden een vereiste. Dit betekent o.a. het draaien van 24/7 stand-by diensten.
    • Gezien de woonplaatsen van je collega's zou het mooi zijn als je in het oosten of zuiden van Nederland woont. Dit zou een plus zijn en geen must.
    • Werkzaamheden worden grotendeels in Nederland gedaan maar kunnen ook in België en Luxemburg uitgevoerd worden. Incidenteel kan je op vrijwillige basis ook in de rest van de wereld ingezet worden (bijv. Nederlandse Antillen)
