Position in the organization
The holder of this position reports to the Group Lead System Qualification and primarily supports the System Qualification department. (S)he manages the performance of a team of technical engineers driven to qualify the NXE systems.

(S)he closely works together with Team Leaders, Production Planners, Module Owners, System Owners, Production Engineers, First Line Support (FLS) and development representatives.


Job mission
ASML Manufacturing is responsible for the production of scanners.

The department System Qualification (SQ) within Manufacturing is responsible for testing and qualifying EUV machines before they will be dismantled, packed and shipped to the customer.

ASML systems are specified and tested according strict quality standards.


SQ Main drivers:
Safety, Quality, Delivery performance, Customer satisfaction, Cost effectiveness, Inventory and People engagement.


Job description

  • Responsible for a safe working environment, developing / improving / stimulating this safe working behavior within the SQ department.
  • Ensure Operational Excellence manufacturing by efficiently making use of resources and focusing on customer needs.
  • Escalate issues to provide successful execution of the production plan.
  • Manage internal and external stakeholders and interfaces effectively (interdepartmental and crosssector).
  • People management, including selection, development, goal setting and performance management. Ensure overall high level of engagement.
  • Enable selfsupporting natural teams.
  • Role model with regard to the lean leadership principles. Leading the change by executing the implementation of the Lean transformation roadmap.
  • Ensure team members are trained and follow the standard ASML business processes, quality standards, safety standards and processes according to the ASML policies.
  • Responsible for the quality (of the progress) of the daily activities of his/her team. Guards the conditions so that the teams members are able to perform their tasks.
  • Facilitate and stimulate an environment for continuous improvement aiming at raising quality, cost reduction, decreasing Cycle Time and increasing customer satisfaction.
  • Contribute to the department Hoshin Kanri Target settings.

Educational level
Bachelor / Master degree.


Experience

  • ASML experience and network.
  • Understanding of the ASML business needs.
  • Basic Manufacturing operations management experience.
  • Thorough understanding of ASML EUV production processes.
  • General knowledge of ASML EUV systems.
  • Lean manufacturing/ Operational excellence experience preferred.
  • Languages: English.

Other information

  • You will be working in a 5 shift schedule: 2x morning (07:00 15:30), 2x evening (15:00 23:30), 2x night (23:00 7:30), 4x day off.
  • Clean room position, with possibility to work in the office.
