    Job description

    The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for executing all activities necessary to ensure the smooth operation of the logistics process within Chroma. The work is carried out in close collaboration with the warehouse to maintain logistical administration. The focus is on both (international) import and export activities.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Logistic and administrative processing of orders
    • Process orders logistically and book transports timely and correctly
    • Preparation and accurate handling of transport shipments for a smooth and correct logistics process
    • Printing and processing warehouse receipts and data entry
    • Daily reporting and assisting in weekly meetings (analysing the week's performance)
    • Various administrative tasks, including documentation, billing, and processing export documents
    • Collaboration with different departments such as logistics, sales, technical departments to ensure that the processes run optimally.
    • Being a source of information for colleagues in the warehouse, sales, and technical departments
    • Maintaining contact with carriers to ensure smooth operations
    • Maintaining contact with customers regarding delivery times and order follow-ups
    • Scan and archiving activities
    • Answering phone calls from customers, distributors and forwarders and answering their questions and/or following up on their requests.
    • Managing the canteen
    • Involvement in various ad-hoc activities

    • Travel allowance: 0.21 cents p/km from 10 km up to 50 km or NS travel card
    • Completed education at the vocational level (MBO)
    • 1 yearof experience in a similar role
    • Knowledge of the English language is a must-have
    • Knowledge of office and software packages (Outlook, Excel, PDF, and Word)
    • Attention to detail and a sense of responsibility
    • Independent, organized, and customer-oriented attitude
    • Able to think outside the box
    • Candidate must be based in the Netherlands
