    We are seeking a talented Engineering Manager with expertise in image processing to lead our dynamic team in the Netherlands. As the Engineering Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the development of our custom camera and image processing solutions, ensuring high-quality deliverables, and fostering innovation within the team.

    The Engineering Manager is responsible for leading the R&D team and activities, as well as generating product requirements and selecting 3rd party products to complete the video solutions offering. In addition to managing the R&D personnel, this position oversees the product road map and the product release process, supported by Operations, Quality, and Marketing. This includes the delivery of the product, documentation, and safety and environmental certificates for hardware and software. This person works closely with all aspects of the business (Sales, Operations, Finance, Marketing, etc.) with an emphasis on understanding the voice of both internal and external customers to identify and launch new products.

    • Analyze product requirements and develop appropriate programs to ensure product development plans are successful achieved as planned.
    • Develops and trains staff including Engineers and Technicians
    • Understand customer needs, current market trends, and potential partnerships.
    • Develop, implement, and maintain release timelines across multiple departments.
    • Provides direct support of Sales as product subject matter expert.
    • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks and participating in professional societies.
    • Establish and maintain rigorous quality assurance processes to ensure the reliability, accuracy, and efficiency of our image processing solutions.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices in imaging systems and data security.
    Requirements

    Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

    • Demonstrated leadership experience, with a track record of successfully leading and managing engineering teams in an agile environment.
    • Experience in image processing development, with a strong understanding of computer vision algorithms, machine learning techniques, and image analysis methodologies is highly desirable.
    • Highly effective cross-functional team management.
    • Demonstrated leadership qualities including strategic thinking, planning, innovation, coaching/mentoring, execution, collaboration, etc.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
    • Experience in project management, including planning, budgeting, and resource allocation, is highly desirable.
    • Willingness to travel to customer sites worldwide
