    Als Lead Cost Engineer vervul je een belangrijke adviserende en ondersteunende rol in het brede werkveld van onze adviesgroep Cost & Data Management. Jouw projecten zijn vooral complexe integrale (inter-) nationale projecten tijdens de initiatie-, engineerings-, contract- en realisatiefase. Ook kan het zijn dat je samen met onze Projectmanagers, Design- en Construction Managers werkt aan EPC (Engineering Procurement Construction) opgaven, waarbij het jouw verantwoordelijkheid is te toetsen of we ontwerpen binnen budget; inkopen binnen budget en meer- en minderwerken van de verschillende aannemers en leveranciers afhandelen.
    Je bent in staat deze specifieke industriekennis verder uit te bouwen door kennis te delen en zo helpen om het costmanagement team verder uit te bouwen.

    Beheert de financiële prestaties van de Cost & Commercial Management projecten gedurende de hele cyclus
    Leidt en beheert de commerciële aspecten van projecten in de organisatie, ondersteunt projectmanagement teams om werk te leveren binnen budget en de vereiste contract specificaties
    Fungeert als een lead technisch expert, geeft strategisch advies aan andere senior managers op het gebied van cost & commercial beheer om succesvolle projectlevering te ondersteunen in lijn met projectdoelstellingen en strategieën

    Data analyse & Managementinformatie
    ~ Analyseert en evalueert complexe informatie uit een reeks van bronnen en houdt toezicht op de aanbevelingen van andere specialisten, om de lange termijn prestaties van de Cost & Commercial Management diensten te verbeteren

    Streeft naar het continu ontwikkelen van processen en het leiden van de implementatie van nieuwe Cost & Commercial Management systeem verbeteringen, werkt aan verbetering van diensten, bevordert innovatie en verbetert de project levering

    Stakeholder management
    Beheert relaties met klanten om nieuwe mogelijkheden te identificeren en het aanbod van Cost & Commercial Management te verbeteren en klanttevredenheid te verhogen. Managet en ontwikkelt sterke werkrelaties met senior klanten en stakeholders, om de klanttevredenheid te garanderen, de Cost & Commercial Management diensten te ontwikkelen en uit te breiden en nieuwe zakelijke kansen te creëren
    Leidt een operationeel team van Cost Specialists binnen de projecten door doelstellingen vast te stellen, prestaties te beoordelen en te zorgen dat teamleden de juiste vaardigheden bezitten om projecten uit te voeren
    Bepaalt op basis van welk stramien gewerkt moet worden door het ontwikkelen van projectmanagement processen en beleid
    De groep waarin je gaat werken heet Cost & Data Management en bestaat uit 33 collegaâs verspreid over verschillende Nederlandse Arcadis-vestigingen. De groep is gespecialiseerd in het financieel begeleiden van projecten in de bouw- en infrasector en bestaat uit bouwkostendeskundigen en een team installatiekostendeskundigen. Jouw directe collegaâs zijn deskundige, enthousiaste en gedreven adviseurs, soms met een aanvullende specialisatie of RICS opleiding. Kortom een veelzijdige functie, binnen collegiale en altijd lerende groep, die digitaal en data gedreven; Onze nieuwe collega neemt ervaring mee vanuit de industrie en aannemerij. Je hebt een HBO of WO werk- en denkniveau met technische achtergrond (installatietechniek, Electro, Werktuigbouw en/of, Energietechniek);
    Je beheerst uitstekend zowel de Nederlandse als de Engelse taal;
    Je bent bereid om voor periodes in het buitenland te verblijven. (Onze voertaal in deze projecten is Engels. Waar je ook werkt, wat je ook doet, als Arcadiaan draag jij bij aan onze missie âImproving quality of lifeâ.
