- Lead the planning and execution of industrialization projects, ensuring a smooth transition from low-volume to full-scale manufacturing.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and quality assurance, to streamline processes and enhance production efficiency.
- Oversee the implementation of new manufacturing technologies and processes to support scale-up objectives.
- Supply Chain Optimization:
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize the supply chain, focusing on scalability, cost-effectiveness, and reliability.
- Identify and qualify new suppliers as needed, negotiating contracts and terms to meet the demands of a growing manufacturing operation.
- Continuously assess and improve supply chain processes to enhance overall efficiency.
- Project Timeline and Budget Management:
- Develop and manage project timelines, ensuring milestones are met within established deadlines.
- Monitor project budgets, identifying and addressing potential cost overruns while maintaining a focus on efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Quality Assurance and Regulatory Compliance:
- Work closely with the quality team to ensure that manufacturing processes meet rigorous quality standards and comply with regulatory requirements.
- Implement and maintain quality management systems to support the production of high-quality medical devices.
- Scaling Up Manufacturing Operations:
- Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement strategies for scaling up manufacturing operations.
- Assess production capacity, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to increase throughput while maintaining product quality.
- Performance Monitoring and Continuous Improvement:
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for both industrialization projects and supply chain processes.
- Analyse data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to enhance overall performance.
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in managing industrialization projects and scaling up manufacturinG operations, preferably in the medical device industry.
- In-depth knowledge of quality management systems and regulatory requirements in the medical device field.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to navigate the challenges of scaling production.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
