    Introduction

    Do you want to partner closely with the Planning & Delivery sector to identify and source the best warehouse providers for ASML? Can you support the business strategy and drive excellent negotiations and contract management?

    We are continuously developing our Sourcing & Procurement department and would like to welcome an enthusiastic sourcing lead

    Job Mission

    You will further strengthen and develop our logistics sourcing team within Non-Product Related (NPR) Procurement department. In this role you unlock the potential of our suppliers to deliver solutions that execute ASML's business strategy, taking into account an optimal balance between total cost of ownership, performance and risk for ASML.

    Job Description

    You co-operate closely with our main stakeholder Global Warehousing Services (GWS) and with our suppliers, with the objective to assure a long-term balance between expected demand and supply capacity.

    Responsibilities:

    • Owner of warehouse contracts for the European region (excl. Benelux).
    • Challenge & support internal stakeholders in their demand.
    • Lead and manage warehouse RFQs in alignment with internal stakeholders and category strategy.
    • Conduct supplier negotiations.
    • Manage and maintain the contracts
    • Manage the commercial supplier relation & performance within the responsible region.
    • Ensure compliancy to the procure-to-pay process.
    • Manage projects line with the global warehouse category strategy.

    Education

    • Higher professional education in a relevant area (e.g. supply chain, logistics, business economics).

    Experience

    • 6-10 years of relevant work experience in a logistics procurement and/or supplier management role.
    • Minimal 5-years project management experience
    • Minimal 3-years' experience in managing 3PLs.
    • Strategic and tactical procurement experience
    • Excellent negotiation and collaboration skills

    Personal skills

    • Strong collaborator with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
    • Action-oriented and structured
    • Able to maintain overview in complex situations and drive a multidisciplinary approach
    • Able to work in a continuously changing and very challenging environment
    • English is a must, Dutch is preferred

    Context of the position

    ASML is a leading provider of advanced technology systems for the semiconductor industry, employing over people in 16 countries. Its success is based on four pillars: technology leadership combined with customer and supplier intimacy, highly efficient manufacturing processes and entrepreneurial people. As a large-scale system integrator, ASML focuses on extensive outsourcing and integration of its supply chain. Approximately 90% of the manufacturing cost price is accounted for by purchased goods. Therefore, high level flexibility must be built into the supplier network. The Strategic Sourcing & Procurement department creates, maintains and qualifies this global network and is responsible for all supplier interaction. This challenging Procurement position reflects the dynamics of ASML and high spend responsibility and frequent exposure to Senior Management.

    Other information

    You will be working in the 'Non-Product Related' Procurement department in a team of 5 procurement colleagues, reporting to a group category manager. Work location is Veldhoven, Netherlands and you must be able to work from the office at least 3 days per week.

    This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
