    Job Description

    Imagine a world where buildings stand firmly on their foundations. If you're passionate about a sustainable future and prefer hands-on work over sitting in an office, the role of Foundation Inspector might be just right for you

    With an internal training program, we provide hands-on experience and guidance, allowing you to gradually work independently. We are ready to work with you to determine which further education or training courses are necessary to help you grow as a professional.

    As a Foundation Inspector, you'll investigate the condition of foundations of older buildings and constructions, often founded on wooden piles. You'll identify potential defects, conduct measurements and inspections, thereby ensuring the safety and stability of these buildings. You'll carry out measurements on these buildings, both indoors and outdoor, and you'll inspect foundations below ground level. You'll spend the majority of your time outdoors, but you'll also regularly be at our offices in Amsterdam or Leidschendam to process the collected measurement data.

    Your role

  • You will conduct precision measurements;
  • You will perform ribbon joint, floor levelling, and inclination measurements;
  • You will operate specialized land survey equipment;
  • You will conduct visual inspections of buildings and document potential foundation-related defects;
  • You will carry out inspections of foundations in confined spaces below ground level;
  • You will document relevant characteristics of a foundation;
  • You process, analyse, and evaluate the acquired measurement results for accuracy and completeness.

    • Your track record

  • You have similar work experience, for example as a land surveyor/building inspector, or you are eager to be trained to perform this work.
  • You want to work fulltime, part-time work (4 days per week) is also possible;
  • You are enthusiastic about outdoor work, but have no objection to some office work. ;
  • You are proficient in English, written and spoken. Preferably, you also have some proficiency in Dutch;
  • You possess a valid driver's license (NL category B).
