Our team in Amsterdam currently has an opening for a Senior Data Architect

YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Brenntag is embarking on a multi-year digital transformation journey which involves multiple Salesforce clouds/products, app exchange products and other backend systems. We are transforming, CRM, B2B commerce, SRM, Marketing and many other business flows at a global scale. This is an opportunity to be part of the foundation team within Commercial platform data and integration team.

You will engage with business, product owner, IT executives. You will be working on defining the next generation data liberation architecture also responsible for data hygiene/cleanup. He/she will be self-motivated, detail oriented and would be a go-to person with data lineage , data transformation, data governance and other key responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will:

Collaborate with business process and data governance managers to build data strategy, direction and roadmap for Commerical Platform Data, data quality program, data warehousing/lake, business intelligence and analytics

Develop and design of data models models for complex analytical and data warehouse systems including performing tasks related to data profiling, database design, data analysis, data quality, metadata management and support.

Collaborate with Data Scientists, Data Engineers and Solution Architects in the implementation and evangelizing the use of various cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Work on project teams to translate business requirements into system qualities that lead to repeatable and executable design strategies and patterns

Work on Data modelling including historical and transaction real time data needs from ERP to CRM .

Lead in Developing Project requirements for end-to-end Data integration process using ETL for Structured, semi-structured and Unstructured Data

Develop proof of concept prototypes for next-generation data solution

Make necessary on-going updates to modeling principles, processes, solutions and best practices to ensure that the data management is aligned with changing needs of the environment

Act as Data domain expert in a collaborative environment

YOUR PROFILE

Qualifications / Requirements

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems or a related discipline.

10+ years of data analysis, data modeling, data integration experience, working alongside
business and IT teams in support of IT project and business initiatives

Curiosity, business and results orientation is a must, alongside knowledge of and experience with leading data analysis and data management approaches

Demonstrated project experience and skills in information requirements gathering, current state analysis, data architecture and data management process definition

Experienced in creating polished high- and low-level design documentation, to facilitate the development cycle

Demonstrated understanding of data management best practices and patterns

Expert knowledge and demonstrated abilities working in large, multi-million-dollar Data architecture programs

Proven ability to work and communicate with all levels within the IT and Business organization

Ability to design, develop and document Business Process Management workflows, spanning both orchestration and human task use cases

Experience in driving agile delivery teams across geographies and working directly with clients

Experience in analytics architecture and engineering

Experience in ETL, Data Engineering, Data Visualization & Analytics across databases and platforms

Experience in AWS , SAP, Salesforce , Mulesoft .

Well experienced on modern visualization tools like CRMA and Sisense

Proven track record of stretching him/her self to meet project deadlines and deliver under pressure
