    We are a part of GroupM, WPP's global media investment management company. Discover more on , and For the Global Content team in Amsterdam, we are looking for a Senior Global Content Manager due to further growth

    You will be a crucial part of the organic social content team across 20+ European markets, leading both large and small social content creation projects across this exciting new entertainment client. Wavemaker Content works with GroupM agencies and independent partners across Europe to deliver a full social content strategy. This also extends into activations and live events, as well as influencer campaigns and advanced tech production (artificial intelligence and 3D modelling).

    We are looking for an established, strategically driven client leader from a creative, content or social media agency background to take on this exciting challenge. A detail-oriented, analytical approach is best suited for this international role, as the stakeholder management required is complex (due to the pan-European nature of the account).

    Social/Content Account Leadership
  • Proven ability to navigate complex international internal and client structures to deliver great work.

  • Calm and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
  • Strategically driven – understanding why we make recommendations to clients, and able to continually adapt plans in line with strategic goals.
  • Strong project management skills are critical - able to both design, implement and see campaigns and projects through from concept to completion.
  • Commercial acumen - able to assess the impact of financial decisions on the client and the agency.
  • High level of numeracy, and confidence with Excel.

  • Appreciation of truly great ideas, and the desire to see them through from concept to delivery.
  • Professional understanding of social media, culture and creativity.
  • A solid working knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and TikTok are crucial).
  • Practiced in delivering constructive creative feedback, consistently, to improve creative ideas.
  • Strong, production-oriented understanding of video and creative content production process, and event production.
  • Data-driven approach to measuring creative and social effectiveness.

  • A can-do attitude, with a willingness to jump in as a team to get things done.
  • Supportive approach to developing more junior team members.
    • Basics
  • Confident in liaising with other specialist departments to achieve shared goals.
  • Resident in Netherlands and able to work from AMS office 2-3 days per week.
  • Photoshop and basic video or motion editing experience is a plus.
  • Experience in Meta Business Manager, Creator Studio, Canva, Slack and Emplifi also beneficial.
  • Excellent English required, Dutch or other European languages also very welcome.
  • Confidence in Microsoft Office suite essential.
