- Create and maintain financial models to support business planning and reporting processes.
- Consolidate data to support the delivery of the annual budget, rolling forecasts, ad-hoc reporting and quarterly outlook processes.
- Provide comprehensive analytical support, including, but not limited to, financial forecasting, modelling, and analysis, ESG and variance reporting.
- Contribute to a diverse set of operational improvement projects, including deliverables such as processes analysis, solution design, implementation plans, and training/communication.
- Assist in preparing materials for the leadership team, including board decks and other leadership updates.
- Assisting in providing financial results to several business parties on a timely basis.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant work experience in controlling/accounting/business role, preferably in a high growth, international company. Creative or production services industry is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics or accountancy /Afgeronde HBO opleiding.
- Strong financial analysis skills, with proficiency in financial modelling and data analysis.
- Understanding of financial statements, accounting principles and financial metrics. IFRS knowledge is a plus.
- Understanding of budgeting and forecasting processes, including variance analysis and trend identification.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across a wide array of stakeholders.
- Fluency, clarity, and good diction in English.
- Strong ability to manage multiple priorities with competing deadlines.
- Detail-oriented and organised, with focus on accuracy and completeness, thrives in fast-paced environment while balancing multiple tasks.
- Experience with Lucanet, Exact Globe or visual analytical tools is a plus but not required.

About the role
The Junior FP&A Cost Controller role is based in Hilversum (NL) and reports into the FPA Cost lead.
We are looking for an energetic, strong Junior FP&A Cost Controller that wants to join us in our exciting journey to become the biggest and best global digital advertising and marketing services group.
This role is ideal for those who find pleasure in data handling, process improvements and performing analyses, which provide valuable insights to internal stakeholders.
The Junior FP&A Controller will support the FP&A Cost Lead to build and consolidate operational cost forecasts and results. This includes annual budget and 3-year planning, as well as quarterly forecast revisions, monthly actual reporting, ESG reporting, and any ad hoc requests pre and post submission. The role will deal heavily with data, i.e. finding it, making sense of it, and presenting it across various channels and sources. Building and improving models is a priority, as is deploying that power to understand the drivers of business. The core focus within Media.Monks is on alignment, process improvements and (post-acquisition) integration. This position is the perfect way to sharpen your competencies in various areas and will give you exposure to a broad range of topics.
