    CC BFS (Cognizant Consulting – Banking & Financial Services) is the consulting part of one of the largest vertical industry sectors within Cognizant. They work with tier 1 banking and insurance organizations globally and in the Benelux.     Your role
    As a Business Analyst Credit Risk & Data at the CC BFS team, your focus will be at the interplay between business and technology, having and building a sound understanding of the business drivers and the capabilities of various technologies.

    Responsibilities:

    • You refine the backlog to support the Product Owner of the squad

    • You play an active role in the refinement of user stories to ensure user story feasibility

    • You translate regulatory requirements into functional designs, ensuring compliance by design

    • Aligns with the architects to make sure the designed solution is in line with the architectural roadmap

    • Works closely together with various departments within the processing chain (Modelling, Reporting, Finance, Data Management etc)

    • Prepares responses to ad-hoc requests from stakeholders (e.g. ECB, DNB, Internal and external auditors)

    • Supporting the team in user acceptance testing and aligning with the stakeholders

    • Also acting as a linking pin between the stakeholders and the implementation team/domains

    • You build the bridge between business and IT.

    • 32-40 hour working week

    What will you bring to the team:

    • University degree; MSc degree (preferably Business Administration, (Business) Economics, Computer Science, Management of Technology or similar).

    • 4-6 years' experience in Business Analysis and/or Consulting or relevant project experience with a focus on the Banking and Finance domain (experience and background in commercial and consumer lending, leasing and financial subscription models is a strong differentiator).

    • Experienced in working with implementation of Credit risk models (PD, LGD, EAD, etc) and regulatory requirements like Basel 3, IFRS9, Anacredit, Definition of Default, etc

    • Ability to translate business (both functional and technical) requirements into solution design

    • Able to understand and maintain the data model, including Reference Data

    • Strong communication-and stakeholder management skills
    Nice to have

    • Experience in working in an Agile/Scrum team

    • Experience with data warehouse tools like Oracle is preferred

    • Experience with BI tools like SaS would be an advantage

    • Experience in Data Quality analysis would be an advantage
