    About Transferz & the role

    Transfers operates a global B2B booking platform for ground transportation, dedicated to travelers, travel brands, and transfer companies. Travelers can complete their travel plans with door-to-door transfers by selecting the transfer they want, based on vehicle type and price, and enjoy peace of mind on the first and last mile of their journeys. We operate on a global scale, whilst contributing to local economies. But enough said about our product, you probably want to know what our people are like, as our people are your product;). We are a bunch of active (bootcamping every Tuesday), passionate, social, always in for a joke and action-oriented people.

    As People & Culture Generalist, you'll be at the heart of the organisation together with the People & Culture Manager to whom you report. You have a vital role in forming the glue between the departments, and managing all the operational processes from the moment we want to hire somebody to the moment they leave. As we have multiple offices, you'll not only be working with our people in Amsterdam, but from all over the world Therefore we seek somebody who is dynamic, versatile, has a service mindset, excellent communication skills and always keeps a clear overview of what needs to be done. Are you also creative in problem-solving and love working smarter, not harder – than those are great bonus points and you'll fit right in


    What will you do?

    • Own the process for all administrative touch points throughout the employee journey and maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation (including our international offices in Argentina & Bangkok), so everything from onboarding to offboarding runs smoothly.
    • Manage all visa & 30% ruling applications and renewals – together with our external partner
    • You are the first point of contact for all our employees when it comes to questions around leave, visa's, birthdays, company policies etc. Connect with employees on a personal level, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment is very important to be approachable and connected.
    • Together with the P&C Manager set up scalable processes to streamline our people operations (this could include implementing new tooling), all ideas and input if highly appreciated.
    • Support in the recruitment process where needed, following up on questions from managers, helping in the first selection process and of course drafting proposals and contracts.
    • Office management is also one of your many responsibilities: keeping track of our hardware and office supplies, plus being the first point of contact for external office stakeholders.
    • Last but definitely not least, you manage the social calendar, together with our party picasso Katarina. Being a culture ambassador and planning great team activities to bring everybody together.


    What do you need?

    • Minimum 2 years experience working in HR, with knowledge of Dutch labour law
    • Strong communication skills, a native Dutch speaker and proficient in English
    • Warm personality and service-minded, you can easily connect with different people and cultures
    • Being a generalist at heart, knowing how to juggle multiple balls at the same time and keeping a structured overview
    • A pragmatic and proactive approach, getting energy from an environment where things still need to be built and therefore coming with new ideas to implement
    • Highly trustworthy and able to handle confidential information with care
