- Develop and maintain a detailed 2-3 year delivery plan for vegetative starter material based on input from Global Crop Planners and Elite sales, for both internal and external production sites
- Strategically optimize the cost of starter material by analyzing forecast risks, supply costs, inventory expenses, and asset utilization.
- Establish monitoring metrics to identify deviations from the plan and proactively address supply constraints and capacity overloads in collaboration with Global Crop Planners.
- Track and maintain Global KPI measurements for Starter Material Supply and assess the performance of production locations.
- Coordinate the purchasing process for starter material, including the creation and management of Purchase Orders for Syngenta-owned facilities and licensed clients.
- Manage intercompany shipments to ensure compliance with documentation and permit requirements, and communicate shipment data with relevant stakeholders.
- Review and analyze invoices from labs and elite facilities against purchase orders to ensure accuracy and adherence to budgetary constraints.
- Preferred HBO+ degree.
- Understanding of demand management, supply planning, forecasting, MRP, and MPS.
- Familiarity with the S&OP process.
- Proficiency in elite processes, cuttings supply chain, and Seeds Multiplication.
- Knowledge of import, export, and phytosanitary requirements.
- Experience in the horticultural industry, particularly flowers.
- Background in planning and planning systems.
- International exposure with the ability to navigate diverse cultures.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and teamwork abilities.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and SAP.
- Understanding of transportation across borders and customs processes.
