    Als Externe Kredietspecialist ben je expert op het gebied van kredietverlening, met name commercieel verhuurd onroerend goed en effectenkredieten. Je bent werkzaam binnen de regio Noord West of Zuid West en werkt samen met meerdere Client Service Teams binnen Private banking wealth management. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor een hoge kwaliteit van werk en een maximale leverbetrouwbaarheid. Je bent sparring partner voor de klant als het gaat om kredietvraagstukken, zowel op het gebied van aanvragen als beheer. Je beschikt over goede gesprekstechnieken en hebt een commerciële drive om de deal te sluiten tegen een uitstekende risk reward.

    Specifieke Taken en Verantwoordelijkheden

  • Vertaalt de vraag van de klant obv je kennis van kredietverlening en marktontwikkelingen naar het juiste voorstel
  • Je schrijft de kredietvoorstellen, stemt deze intern af en je bent verantwoordelijk voor het offerte-traject.
  • Samen met het Client Service Team genereer je cross-sell op het gebied van . vermogensbeheer, hypotheken en Business Banking.
  • Voert gesprekken met klanten over complexe beheerzaken zoals juridische omzettingen, derisking en herfinancieringen van bullets.
  • Samen met je team ben je verantwoordelijk voor het voldoen aan de vereisten van het beheer van de portefeuille, zoals revisies en watchlist
  • In staat zelfstandig te werken met de processen, policies, systemen en tooling mbt kredietverlening.

    • Specifieke Kennis en Ervaring

  • Minimaal 4 jaar aantoonbare ervaring in en gespecialiseerde kennis van kredietverlening, bij voorkeur Private Banking of Business Banking. Achtergrond in commercieel verhuurd onroerend goed is een pre, waardoor wij ook open staan voor een nieuwe collega zonder bancaire achtergrond
  • Minimaal HBO opleiding, bv in finance of economie
  • Achtergrond in effectendienstverlening of eigen woningfinanciering is een pre
  • Sterk in probleemanalyse en oordeelsvorming. Kan hoog volume aan informatie (financieel en taxaties) in korte tijd verwerken
  • Werkt gestructureerd en kan goed omgaan met strakke tijdslijnen
  • Begrijpt de behoefte en vermogensstructuur van de klant en kan met de klant meedenken en voorstellen maken die in het belang van de klant zijn.
  • Sterke communicatieve kwaliteit, zowel verbaal als schriftelijk. Het is essentieel dat je de Nederlandse taal goed beheerst
  • De opleiding WFT krediet, Vermogen en basis zijn verplicht. Mocht je nog niet in het bezit zijn van deze diploma's, wordt van je verwacht dat je deze zal halen

    External lending specialist
    As external lending specialist, you are an expert on lending, with a focus on commercial real estate and Lombard loans. You work in the region North West or South West with several client service teams within Private Banking Wealth Management. You are the sparring partner for the client wrt lending products, both requests and monitoring. You have good communication skills and the commercial drive to close a deal with the right risk reward

    What are you going to do?

  • You act as a sparring partner for our clients and with your lending expertise and knowledge of market developments, you translate the client's request to the appropriate proposal
  • You write credit proposals, coordinate the approval process and you are responsible for the term sheet process
  • Together with the client service team, you generate cross-sell for investment management, mortgages and business banking
  • You have client meetings wrt in life management processes, like refinancing of bullets
  • Together with your team, you are responsible to meet the requirements for portfolio monitoring
  • Capable of working independently with processes, policies, systems and tooling wrt lending

    • To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in a lending environment within a financial institution, preferably private banking or business banking. Background in commercial real estate is welcomed and we are therefore also open to candidates which have not worked for a financial institution before
  • Preferably an academic background (Msc) in eg finance, business, or economics
  • Background in Investments or mortgages is welcomed
  • Proficiency of analysing and summarising high volumes of financial and valuation information in a short period of time and come to an appropriate proposal
  • Understands the clients needs and can act as a sparring partner and come to a proposal which meet the clients request
  • Brings structure in his/ her work and able to handle tightdeadlines
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbally. The primary language in our team and with our stakeholders is Dutch, so fluency in this language is essential

    • You are obliged to hold certificates in WFT Basis, Vermogen and Krediet and if you do not, you are expected to obtain them
