    Equinix is in Nederland vertegenwoordigd met elf datacenters, waarvan negen in Amsterdam, één in Enschede en één in Zwolle. De datacenters bieden huisvesting, energievoorziening, koeling, beveiliging en uiteraard de connectiviteit voor de hoogwaardige apparatuur van onze klanten.     De afdeling Operations Project Management zorgt vanuit een centrale rol voor het continu verbeteren, uitbreiden en aanpassen van de (kritische) technische infrastructuur in de Nederlandse Equinix datacenters. Operations Project Management heeft hoogwaardige technische expertise en ervaring in huis op gebied van elektrotechnische, werktuigbouwkundige installaties en regeltechniek/monitoringssystemen in datacenters en zorgt voor het uitvoeren van projecten en programma's aan de technische infrastructuur.

    Project Manager Technical Facilities

    Als Project Manager op de afdeling Operations Project Management ben je verantwoordelijk voor het voorbereiden en uitvoeren tot en met oplevering en nazorg van technische projecten in de datacenters van Equinix in Nederland. De Project Manager vervult de centrale rol in de aan hem/haar toegewezen projecten waarin de belangen van verschillende stakeholders binnen de organisatie moeten worden behartigd en waarin zowel interne specialisten als externe partijen moeten worden gecoördineerd en aangestuurd. Vanwege de aard van de projecten is inhoudelijke kennis en ervaring op het gebied van bouwprojecten en gebouwgebonden elektrotechnische, werktuigbouwkundige en regeltechnische installaties wenselijk. De Project Manager wordt hierin ondersteund door Project Engineer(s) uit verschillende vakgebieden. In elk project dienen de aspecten tijd, geld, kwaliteit, informatie en organisatie alsmede veiligheid en gezondheid geborgd te blijven.

    Jouw taken bestaan uit

    • Het adviseren van de opdrachtgever en/of stakeholders ten aanzien van de aanpak en organisatie van projecten in de datacenters
    • Het opstellen van projectplannen en -documentatie en het volgen van de afgesproken procesflow binnen de organisatie
    • Het inplannen en reserveren van resources benodigd voor het project, zowel intern als extern
    • Het inplannen en bewaken van de voortgang van projecten en het rapporteren hierover aan de opdrachtgever en stakeholders
    • Het contracteren van externe partijen zoals leveranciers, adviseurs en aannemer en het bewaken van budget
    • Houden van voortgangsoverleg en tijdig signaleren en afstemmen van wijzigingen in scope, tijd en budget voor het project
    • Het verzorgen van de oplevering van uitgevoerde projecten inclusief alle afgesproken deliverables en nazorg na de handover van het project aan de opdrachtgever
    • Leveren van een bijdrage aan procesverbeteringen (waar mogelijk), zoals bij voorbeeld ten aanzien van de procesflow, rapportagemethoden, contractvorming, supply chain en documentbeheer

    Jouw profiel

    • Relevante technische vooropleiding en HBO werk-/denkniveau
    • Aantoonbare opleiding/ training op gebied van projectmanagement
    • Relevante en ruime (10+ jaar) werkervaring als Project Manager in bouw-/ gebouwgebonden installatieprojecten; bekendheid en ervaring met in werken in een mission critical omgeving is een prë
    • Je beschikt over hoogwaardige communicatieve vaardigheden, mondeling en schriftelijk, in zowel Nederlands als Engels
    • Je bent doortastend, werkt planmatig en brengt graag structuur en duidelijkheid in de omgeving waarin je werkt. Je hanteert een zorgvuldige en resultaatgerichte werkwijze
    • Klantgerichte, pro-actieve en sterke resultaat-/ oplossingsgerichte instelling
    • Je neemt verantwoordelijkheid en bent een teamspeler die samenwerking zoekt, die anderen weet te enthousiasmeren en overtuigen. Waar nodig weet je ook te bemiddelen in conflicten
    • Kennis van en affiniteit met kantoorautomatiseringsapplicaties
