- Je hebt aantoonbare kennis van en (geleefde) ervaring op het gebied van diversiteit en inclusie
- Je bent georganiseerd, flexibel, proactief en oplossingsgericht;
- Je beheerst de Nederlandse taal uitstekend in woord en geschrift en de Engelse taal goed in woord en geschrift.
- Een dienstverband voor bepaalde tijd van 1 jaar met een proeftijd van 2 maanden. Verlenging is mogelijk afhankelijk van goed functioneren. Het dienstverband is voor 14-20 uur per week (mede afhankelijk van je studiejaar);
- Je werkuren zijn in overleg flexibel in te delen, waarbij je studie voorop staat;
- Mogelijkheid om zowel op een centrale locatie (Maagdenhuis, Spui 21) als ook vanuit huis te werken;
- Het dienstverband eindigt in ieder geval zodra je niet langer bij de UvA studeert;
- Het salaris wordt bepaald door de fase waarin je je binnen de opleiding bevindt. Het salaris wordt dan vastgesteld volgens de desbetreffende SA-schaal conform de caoNU (Cao Nederlandse Universiteiten).
- Je salaris bedraagt, afhankelijk van relevante ervaring bij aanvang van het dienstverband, € 2.,- tot € 2..- bruto per maand op basis van 38 per week. Dit is exclusief 8 % vakantie- en 8.3 % eindejaarsuitkering. De is van toepassing.

Dan is de functie van student-assistent bij het Diversity Office van de Universiteit van Amsterdam jou als breed inzetbaar persoon op het lijf geschreven.
Wat ga je doen?
In samenwerking met een projectleider ondersteun je het CDO (Central Diversity Office) met organisatorische en licht administratieve taken. Zo help je onze projectleiders met projecten ten behoeve van eerstegeneratie-studenten, draag je bij aan de ondersteuning van identiteitsnetwerken of assisteer je bij onderzoek naar de omgang met religieuze identiteiten in het hoger onderwijs.
In overleg met de betrokken projectleider verricht je daarvoor praktische taken, organiseer en notuleer je bijeenkomsten, houd je de nodige administratie bij en help je tijdens evenementen. Het is een uitdagende en veelzijdige functie, waarbij je veel kunt leren over gelijkwaardigheid, diversiteit en inclusie binnen een onderwijsinstelling en je jezelf breed kunt ontwikkelen.
