Lotus Cars builds world-class, high-performance and lightweight sports cars that are sold all around the world.

Lotus Cars Europe B.V. is responsible for the Marketing, Sales and After Sales of the Lotus Cars products in the European region.

We are looking for a HBO (or WO) student in the third or last year of e.g. Commercial Economics or International Business for our Sales and Product Marketing Department. This will be for a period of 6 months starting asap in our European HQ based in Amsterdam.


Summary:


This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in data analytics within the automotive industry while contributing to the success of a renowned brand.

As a Data Analytics and Sales Reporting Intern, you will report to the Sales and Operations Planning Senior Specialist.

You will support our sales and marketing team by analyzing data, generating insights, and creating reports to drive strategic decision-making.


What you'll do:


  • Analyze sales data, including revenue recognition, registrations & order takes.
  • Identify opportunities for growth and optimization.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Microsoft Excel and PowerBI to visualize sales performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to gather requirements, understand business needs, and provide datadriven recommendations.
  • Assist in data collection, cleansing, and preparation to ensure accuracy and reliability of analysis.
  • Conduct adhoc analyses to answer specific business questions and support decisionmaking processes.
  • Assist in documenting processes, methodologies, and best practices for data analytics and reporting.

What you'll bring:


  • Real passion and proficiency in data analytics and management, with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data manipulation, analysis, and modeling.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI or similar business intelligence tools for data visualization and report generation.
  • Ability to interpret complex data sets and communicate insights effectively to nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Strong problemsolving skills and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate in English within crossfunctional teams.

  • We provide an internship allowance of **600;
- euro monthly
for a 6 months
internship, commuting allowance 0.23 cent per km
and 12 holiday days**.
