    Introductory Paragraph:

    Are you passionate about Algorithmic Trading and risk? Do you have experience leading a department of risk analysts to success? If so, we invite you to consider joining our client's risk management department based in the beautiful city of Amsterdam. As one of the leading prop firms, this permanent role offers an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking for leading a team.

    Qualifications:

    Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance/Economics/Statistics/Mathematics from a recognized institution

    7+ years' experience working with algorithmic trading and risk

    Proven track record managing teams effectively

    Experience with working at a prop firm

    Responsibilities :

    As the Head of Risk, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to;

    Leading and mentoring a team responsible for analysing potential market risks through quantitative analysis models.

    Developing strategies that can be used by traders on how they should manage their portfolios whilst keeping within specified limits.

    Providing recommendations around new products/initiatives; reviewing current product lines & assessing associated risks

    Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements related specifically towards Market / Operational Risks.
