- Leading the entire Risk team, encouraging their growth and development.
- Hands-on implementation and management of actual and potential risks with strategic considerations of the overall risk appetite and governance principles to support Board.
- Control of all risks through consistently identifying, measuring, assessing, mitigating and monitoring.
- Educating and advising the business in the implementation of risk management measures.
- Key contributor for decision-making at Board level/ Stakeholders to provide a relevant risk overview.
- 10 yrs + relevant industry experience - ideally spent in the fintech, crypto or trading space.
- Experience managing financial risk, as well as enterprise, operational and IT risks - including knowledge of regulatory requirements, risk assessment and mitigation techniques, and risk reporting frameworks.
- Staying up to date with financial sector in relation to legislation, compliance, integrity and corporate governance.

As Head of Risk, you'll inherit and lead the existing Risk division, a team of 8 x 'second line' Risk Officers who are responsible for the identification to management of all financial and non-financial risks that may impact them as a business.
The team oversees enterprise, operational, business continuity, IT and financial risks, so they're looking for a leader with strong technical skills, as well as industry experience (fintechs, crypto, trading, investment banking or similar areas), so that you have knowledge of the regulatory environment and wider economic and political factors relevant.
What will I be doing?
Reporting directly to the CRO who is highly strategic, you will be very involved in the day-to-day smooth operation and take responsibility of the following:
