    Take ownership

    As bunq's Head of Enterprise Risk, you'll lead the second line of defense within the Enterprise Risk function, helping us prevent any potential disruptions and losses, in our quest to Make Life Easy for our users. You will do that by:

    • Monitoring first-line ownerships for any ineffective internal processes, people, systems, or external events - what we want is to prevent any operational disruptions and security incidents from happening
    • Maintaining our Expectation Management Framework - always knowing what our users want and expect, and be on the lookout on what threats could prevent bunq from delivering on these
    • You are motivated to challenge the status-quo and traditional banks - affinity with fintech is a big plus
    • You care deeply about being user-centric as we are.
    • You have built enterprise risk management frameworks - including processes and automations for Risk and Compliance
    • Operational and IT risks are things you're well-versed at; bonus points if you keep track of relevant regulation in this domain
    • You have an affinity with building strong working relationships with industry counterparts, regulators, and also partners
    • You have led teams in high-growth organizastions,and have built a culture of compliance by design
    • You can make decision based on data, and can articulate logic behind decisions and policies
    • You are an excellent communicator and speak English fluently - any additional European languages (German , Dutch,French) are always helpful
