    THEROLE

    As a Senior MechanicalDesigner, you will play a crucial role in the product developmentprocess by leading the design and development of products.Leveraging your extensive experience and technical expertise, youwill contribute to the innovation and optimization of mechanicaldesigns, ensuring they meet the highest standards of functionality,reliability, and manufacturability.

    YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACTBY

    • Conceptualizationand Innovation
      • Collaborating withcross-functional teams to understand project requirements andcontribute innovative ideas to enhance product performance andfunctionality.
      • Driving the development of newconcepts and solutions through a deep understanding of mechanicalengineeringprinciples.
    • 3DModeling and Simulation
      • Utilizingadvanced 3D modeling tools (e.g. Inventor, SolidWorks, AutoCAD) tocreate detailed and accurate mechanicaldesigns.
      • Conducting simulations and analyses tovalidate designs, ensuring they meet performance, safety, andregulatorystandards.
    • Prototypingand Testing
      • Overseeing thecreation of prototypes and performing rigorous testing to validatedesign concepts and identify areas forimprovement.
      • Collaborating with testing andquality assurance teams to ensure designs meet specifiedrequirements andstandards.
    • Collaborationand Communication
      • Effectivelycommunicating design concepts and ideas to cross-functional teams,stakeholders, and clients.
      • Collaborating withelectrical, software, and industrial designers to integratemechanical components seamlessly into overall productarchitecture.
    • CostOptimization and ManufacturingSupport
      • Working closely withmanufacturing teams to ensure designs are optimized forcost-effective production.
      • Providing supportduring the manufacturing process, addressing any design-relatedissues that mayarise.
    • Documentationand Compliance
      • Creating detaileddesign documentation, including drawings, specifications, anddesign reviews.
      • Ensuring designs comply withindustry standards, regulations, and safetyrequirements.
    • ContinuousLearning
      • Staying abreast of thelatest advancements in mechanical engineering and designtechnologies.
      • Implementing best practices andincorporating new techniques to improve the efficiency andeffectiveness of the designprocess.
    Functie-eisen
    • Bachelor's degree in mechanicalengineering or a related field; advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.)is a plus.
    • Proven experience (typically 8+years) in mechanical design, with a focus on complex systems andcomponents.
    • Demonstrated ability to designmachines, with experience in developing innovative solutions forcost-efficient and reliable mechanicalsystems.
    • Proficiency in 3D modeling software,such as Inventor, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similartools.
    • Nice-to-have: Prior experience withindustrial vacuum systems and familiarity with the challenges andconsiderations associated with the design of vacuum-basedmachinery.
    • Nice-to-have: Experience indesigning systems for moving bulk materials and powders, showcasingan understanding of material handling principles and associatedengineering considerations.
    • Strong analyticaland problem-solving skills.
    • Excellentleadership, communication, and interpersonalskills.
    • Familiarity with manufacturingprocesses and materials.
    • Ability to managemultiple projectssimultaneously
