    This role involves preparing new Annual Report and Consolidated IFRS Financial Statements, transitioning from Prior Dutch GAAP, including audit trails and readiness for audit reviews. Responsibilities also include drafting Directors/Management report sections, converting from Dutch GAAP to IFRS, establishing data gathering for new IFRS requirements, developing Excel models, and incorporating PPA adjustments.

    Our client operates in the aviation sector in the area of Gelderland. To support the finance team Our client is looking for Interim IFRS Accounting and External Reporting Manager.

    Description

    As a Interim IFRS Accounting and External Reporting Manager you are responsible for the following tasks;

    • Set-up new Annual Report and Consolidated IFRS Financial Statements for new Group Consolidation (based from Prior Dutch GAAP Consolidated financial), with audit trails and ready for Audit reviews.
    • Draft and complete Directors/Management report sections of annual report.
    • Convert from Dutch GAAP to IFRS, including impact assessment memo for auditors, and additional disclosure notes as required required.
    • Establish data gathering for any new requirements under IFRS (e.g. leases). Develop excel models to incorporate and include in Financial Statements.
    • Prepare Opening Consolidate Balance Sheet, based on Sale Transition documents form July 2023 and time apportionment of operating entities financial
    • Incorporate the PPA adjustment and valuations in the Financial statements, ensure consistency with business prior PPA's, ensure model is usable for future group acquisitions and impairment analysis.
    • Prepare accounts including notes for new Holdco's ready for audit. Prepare stand alone financial statements for ultimate parent for inclusion in Consolidated Financial Statements.
    • Ensure all models used/developed are well documented to hand over to the business
    • Support loading all opening and closing balances into ERP (quantum) and consolidation application (LucaNet) as necessary.

    Profile

    • Available as soon as possible
    • Strong IFRS knowledge, acquisition transition accounting experience
    • Strong financial statement preparation experience
    • Audit background, know how to prepare for audit, audit experience, RA/CPA would be a plus
    • Lucanet/Hyperion experience a plus
    • Self-starter, working effectively and independently
