    Teaching Assistant for the Master of Family Wealth Management Programme (Ref.: to commence as soon as possible and until 30 June 2025 with the possibility of renewal)

    The Hong Kong Institute for the Humanities and Social Sciences ("IHSS") is launching a new 1-year, taught master's programme in Family Wealth Management. We are looking for a Teaching Assistant to assist the Programme Director in building knowledge on family wealth management.

    Key responsibilities:

  • Collect, catalogue and synthesise secondary research on family wealth in APAC and Hong Kong
  • Develop original content on family wealth management to be shared across multiple platforms: formal presentations, speeches, social media, short papers, media interviews, etc.
  • Assist the Programme Director in developing course materials, tutoring students, and assessing coursework for the below courses:
  • MFWM7006 Current Issues in Family Office Management
  • MFWM7019 Philanthropy and Social Impact Investing: Integrating CSR and ESG into Family Wealth Management
  • MFWM8011 Family Wealth Management Capstone Project
  • Project manage special events and liaise with guest speakers

    • Successful candidate(s) would have either completed or in the process of completing a Master's degree or above in Wealth Management, Investment Management, Finance, or other related fields. An excellent command of spoken and written English is required. They should be at once a strong person who is able to engage with industry practitioners, and also a diligent content writer who can independently develop written and graphical communications in multiple formats. Passion for family wealth management is essential.

    Work type is flexible — we may consider both full-time and part-time workers, to be discussed with the Programme Director, but commitment to complete academic year is expected.

    A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits, if applicable.
