    Clerk I/II (holding the functional title of Senior Executive Assistant/ Executive Assistant) in the Faculty of Social Sciences (Ref.: to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability)

    Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, marketing, or related disciplines, with at least 2-4 years' relevant work experience, preferably in the tertiary education sector. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; good organizational skills to handle multiple tasks, prioritise work effectively and meet deadlines; effective interpersonal and communication skills; outgoing personality in dealing with people at all levels; the ability to work independently and in a team; and a strong sense of responsibility and be attentive to details. A high level of digital proficiency and knowledge of multimedia design and social media skills will definitely be an advantage.

    The appointee will assist the Faculty's Communications Team in developing a spectrum of communications plans and implementing marketing activities, with major responsibilities including:

  • organising seminars, conferences and events;
  • assisting in maintaining websites and social media platforms;
  • developing promotional materials;
  • liaising with alumni, students, internal and external parties; and
  • providing general administrative support and any other duties as assigned.

    • Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
