- Directing the crew and overseeing all aspects of towage operations.
- Navigating the vessel according to strict safety regulations.
- Maintaining communication with port authorities and other vessels.
- Monitoring safety during towing, both for the ship and the cargo.
- Identifying and resolving technical and operational issues in collaboration with the engineering crew.
- Reporting on progress and any incidents to the shipping company.
- Possession of required certificates such as STCW.
- Master's license with no limitations.
- At least 1 year of experience as a Master, preferably on towage vessels.
- Experience with ASD or Voith Schneider is an advantage but not required.
- Strong leadership and navigation skills.
- Knowledge of maritime regulations and towage operations.
- Proficient in English, both spoken and written.
- Proactive attitude and capable of handling emergencies.
