- Coordinate navigation and maneuvering operations, focusing on safety and efficiency.
- Lead the crew, including managing towing lines, securing cargo, and performing maintenance tasks if needed.
- Maintain high standards of maritime skills and safety among the deck crew.
- Ensure compliance with international maritime laws and regulations.
- Actively contribute to voyage planning and monitor weather conditions.
- Serve as a crucial link between the Master and crew for smooth communication and operation.
- Possession of required STCW certificates, including a valid COC Chief Officer.
- At least 2 years of experience in a maritime leadership role at sea, preferably in tugboat operations.
- Exceptional navigation skills.
- Deep knowledge of maritime legislation, with a special focus on tugboat operations.
- Proficient in English, both spoken and written.
- Proactive and efficient problem-solving skills.
- Ability to remain calm and act decisively in emergency situations.
