- Assist in navigation and execution of towing maneuvers under the direction of the Master.
- Coordinate and supervise all deck operations.
- Monitor and train the deck crew to maintain high standards of safety and technical skills.
- Implement and maintain safety procedures.
- Actively contribute to the planning of towing operations and respond to changing weather conditions.
- Ensure communication between the Master, crew, and other involved parties.
- Possession of the required STCW certificates for towage, including a valid maritime officer's competency certificate.
- At least 2 years of experience on towage vessels.
- In-depth knowledge of navigation, towage techniques, and crisis management.
- Strong leadership skills and experience in leading a team.
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
- Able to perform under high pressure.
