Bird & Bird kent de Life Sciences sector als geen ander en rekent de grootste nationale en internationale farmaceutische en biotechnologische bedrijven tot haar cliënten.
Life sciences regulatory is een steeds belangrijker onderdeel van onze praktijk, zowel nationaal als internationaal. De zaken zijn zeer uiteenlopend van aard en gaan onder meer over markttoelatingen, vestiging van bedrijven, overeenkomsten met zorgprofessionals, telemedicine, data en privacy, tot en met openbaarheid van EMA-dossiers en Brexit-issues. Veel zaken zijn een combinatie van regulatory, intellectuele eigendomsrecht en ondernemingsrecht. De praktijk bestaat zowel uit adviseren als procederen.
Onze cliënten zijn veelal internationaal actief waardoor je in veel gevallen samenwerkt met collega's van buitenlandse Bird & Bird-kantoren. Om die samenwerking goed te bevorderen organiseert Bird & Bird internationale sector retreats. Zo leer je je buitenlandse collega's persoonlijk kennen, deel je kennis en ervaringen en leer je nog meer over de regulatory praktijk in andere landen.
