    Head of Strategic Project Management Office

To further develop and grow this ambition we are looking for a Head of Strategic Project Management Office

    YOUR JOB:

    In this job you will lead the Strategic Project Management Office (PMO), which is accountable to ensure that all strategic company programs and projects are well scoped (business case), planned and executed according to plan and contribute to and deliver strategic objectives. Furthermore you also ensure that APV Project Portfolio prioritization takes place to support the annual budgeting cycle and that the company standards are set, and the department is the center of excellence for Project and Portfolio Management in APV.

    YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • You have a shared responsibility for delivering the output/outcome of strategic programs/projects, meeting the strategic objectives.
    • You are responsible for monitoring the projects and progress report.
    • Steers and manages the APV project portfolio, driving prioritization setting by the VSLT.
    • Assign professional, high-quality project and program managers to selected projects and programs to support optimal execution of APV project portfolio.
    • Support Functional Portfolio Managers and centralize the reporting for VSLT.
    • Be the Center of Excellence for Project Management in APV, providing skilled professionals and train and support the organization to improve project and program management capabilities and quality across APV.
    • Alignment with the VSLT about strategic objectives and responsible for the management of the programs to achieve these strategic objectives.
    • Responsible for leading the PMO-community within APV (incl. project managers and members of functional areas).

    YOUR PROFILE: Education and work experience:

    • At least master (level 6+) preferably in the field of Agronomy or BA.
    • Trained and very experienced in portfolio, program and project management (e.g. PMP and MSP).
    • Proven experience in change processes in large organizations and an international setting.
    • People management skills and experience in managing professionals from different disciplines.
    • Relevant experience (7) in the agricultural sector is a plus.
    • Team player.
    • Good networker.
    • Excellent command of the English language, verbally as in writing.

    Competences: result driven, persistent, tactical and good influencing skills; being able to achieve results without hierarchical power, good analytical and reasoning skills, strategic thinking.
