- Lead the creation of high-quality spatial designs for game environments utilizing 3D sketch models and 2D paint overs, setting artistic benchmarks for the project.
- Interpret project briefs to generate artistic direction material, including detailed drawings, paintings, reference boards, and mood boards, facilitating broader project visions.
- Champion aesthetic excellence and compelling visual storytelling, aligning closely with gameplay experience and narrative objectives.
- Maintain a proactive dialogue with the Art Director, the Game Director and the Leads, offering regular updates on artistic progress.
- Mentor artists and oversee their development to ensure consistency and quality across all visual elements.
- You have worked as a Concept Artist on the full development cycle of multiple high-profile console/PC/VR titles.
- Exceptional design and traditional art skills, with expert-level knowledge in composition, layout, lighting, color theory, and visual storytelling.
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills, capable of forecasting project needs and timelines.
- Thorough understanding of the game development pipeline and how concept art can effectively support it.
- Ability to provide numerous solutions that effectively consider both budgetary constraints and the technological limitations of VR.
- Mastery of industry-standard tools such as Blender (or similar), Photoshop and Unreal Engine.
- You thrive in dynamic environments, pushing creative boundaries and inspiring others.
- Strong technical proficiency with a demonstrated ability to adapt to new tools and software efficiently.
- Good grasp of 3D modeling tools and Unreal Engine is strongly preferred.
