The European PPA market is a highly dynamic environment leading to the decarbonization of the European energy sector. It is a continuously growing and developing market that will see increasing importance in the upcoming years. This role would offer a leading position in this exciting sector.

In this role you will be the cooperative foreman for the PPA Desk, where you focus on (new) business, strategy and market potential, determining KPIs and dealmaking. Simultaneously you focus on mentoring the team (now 2 FTE), enabling their learning and development, the atmosphere in the team and the growth of the team.

What you will be doing

• Conducting market research to analyse market trends and potential clients to help inform business decisions.
• Initiating and negotiating of PPA deals with suppliers, producers, and consumers.
• Optimise and structure the PPA portfolio to increase value and reduce the operational and administrative burden.
• Lead by example: being a cooperative foreman for the team.
• Coaching and challenging your team members.
• Developing strategies to improve (team)performance: You boost client satisfaction and meet sales targets.
• Monitors and discusses KPIs with his/her team members (no evaluation responsibility).
• Maintaining existing relationships while creating your own portfolio with new clients and stakeholders.
• Representing AFS Energy at international conferences, showcasing a high-level understanding of all aspects concerned with PPAs.
• At least 2 years of experience within the PPA-sector.
• English and Dutch are mandatory. Any other language is a plus
• In-depth professional knowledge of your product, service, and market is a big plus.
• Real team player with leadership experience and capabilities.
• Driven, responsible and entrepreneurial.
• Enthusiastic, communicative, and socially skilled.
