- Act as the voice of the customer (CS local offices and local CS management)
- Manage risks, dependencies (in- and outside the team), stakeholders and other escalations within own control; Engage with senior management in a timely manner in case of help requests;
- Communicate and set priorities of the team backlog and ensure the team understands why their contribution to the value chain;
- Able to understand the process or product details to have enough knowledge to drive discussions in the team, and to ensure proper decision making
- Collaborate with other (Chief) Product Owners to align on priorities and objectives of the team as well as the team backlog;
- Team-up with the Chief Product Owner to understand priorities for the next Program Increment (PI), prepares the team backlog for PI planning and breaks down the larger work items into small ones;
- Support the roll-out of new/changed applications;
- Cooperate with the Scrum Master to drive the team towards results and identify team and process improvements;
- Ensures that backlog items have requirements, acceptance criteria and ensures that the team understands them;
- Coordinate and participate in user acceptance tests (UAT's)
- Ensures focus of the team on PI deliverables and ensure the team is not distracted
- Ensure support calls are picked up and handled to the satisfaction of our end-users and within given KPI's during the CtB cycle.
- Align with CS engineers through a series of actions (mainly by mail/telephone/Teams); maintain frequent communication with the local sites
- Document / contribute to internal procedures, test cases and training materials
- Over 3 years' experience in a project management or product owner role within software development in a scaled agile environment (SAFe)
- Proven track record of Leadership / Managerial skills within an Agile environment
- Knowledge of the ASML way of working in general and the CS way of working specifically is of added value to this position.

The sector Customer Support (CS) enables our customers' success by working directly in their fabs to ensure their tools operate at the highest capacity every day. Together, we work across all CS regions to deliver focused innovation and execution, and most importantly, drive customer trust.
Job Mission
The Product Owner (PO) role is a Change the Business (CtB) role, where you are eager to understand and translate CS & Field requirements to software increments delivering the right functionalities to support our ASML's Field teams. Next to that there is a close alignment needed with RtB, what means there will be close contact with experts and key users.
In this way you support the CS organization to become even more efficient, mature and deliver quality in a rather standardized manner. To achieve this you use your deep knowledge of the semiconductor industry, best-known methods, and/or broad experience in similar industries with proven Agile and Change Management skills.
Role and responsibilities
As a PO you will work with a (IT) team in an Agile Release Train (ART) to deliver items that create the most value for ASML in the area of Planning & Scheduling. You will do this throughout the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) of the solution. Meaning you will not only be involved during the development and implementation of the solution to the field, but also during the sustaining phase to further enhance the solution and fix issue if any.
In close cooperation with the Chief Product Owner (CPO) and Business Application Manager (BAM sustaining) and a multitude of internal and external stakeholders, the Product Owner contributes towards the product vision and product plan and prioritizes the backlog upon changing priorities. During the Development Phase (CtB) you will also closely collaborate with the Project leader to support the execution of the delivery plan, manage development risks and discuss on deployment considerations. So this will require a strong self-drive, excellent stakeholder management and a continuous fine tuning for value optimization.

Bachelor or Master degree in business administration, (industrial) engineering or IT technical areas. Agile and SAFe certifications are preferred as well as experience in (application) support domains.

The holder of this position reports to a Group Lead within CS Central Services department. In this role you might require to travel (both foreign and domestic), to facilitate trainings for key users, align with local teams and support deployments.
