    Job Description

    We are currently seeking an experienced IT Operations Engineer to join our team on a short-term freelance contract basis. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting and maintaining our trading system to ensure smooth operations and minimal downtime. You will work closely with our development and operations teams to troubleshoot issues, perform system maintenance, and implement enhancements and upgrades. This is a fast-paced environment that requires strong technical skills and the ability to work independently.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Monitor and maintain the stability and performance of our trading system
    • Troubleshoot and resolve system and network issues
    • Perform routine system maintenance tasks
    • Implement system enhancements and upgrades
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations
    • Document system configurations and procedures
    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in trading system operations

    Requirements:

    • Prior experience in IT operations and support
    • Strong knowledge of trading systems and financial markets
    • Experience with network troubleshooting and configuration
    • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Perl
    • Knowledge of Linux operating systems
    • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks

    Requirements
