Executive Officer in the School of Chinese Medicine (Ref.: to commence as soon as possible on a two-year fixed term basis, with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a good university degree with at least 5 years' work experience in the higher education or public/quasi-public sectors. An excellent command of English and Chinese (including Putonghua); strong communication and interpersonal, supervisory, organizational and problem-solving skills; ability to establish and maintain collaborative relationships with diverse groups of stakeholders; and a strong sense of responsibility are essential. Applicants should be a good team player, attentive to details, self-motivated, able to multitask, and work independently with minimal supervision.
The appointee will oversee daily programme operation and student affairs, and assist in policy formulation and curriculum development. He/she is expected to deliver quality outputs in a wide spectrum of administrative work and other duties as assigned. Flexibility to work outside office hours is required. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview and/or written test.
