- Provide technical support across full Tableau product suite including Tableau Desktop, Tableau Prep, Tableau Server and Tableau Online
- Possess in-depth knowledge of Tableau architecture, components and services such as the data engine, extract API, Hyper file format
- Hands-on experience with Tableau REST APIs for administering users, sites, projects etc.
- Experience with Tableau Server administration covering tasks such as user and permission management, scheduling extracts and incremental refreshes
- Familiarity with Tableau data connection methods and ability to troubleshoot issues related to live DB connections vs. extracts
- Advise on best practices for designing performant workbooks and dashboards using efficient data sources
- Replicate issues on Tableau Desktop or Tableau Prep Builder to isolate root cause
- Create and document reproducible test cases for defects to submit to product engineering teams
- Work with stakeholders to build impactful analytics assets using Tableau Software and/or Analytics Studio
- Identify issues within existing source systems, tools, processes, data sources, and dashboards; including making suggestions to the team to improve accuracy, decrease latency, and reduce inefficiencies
- Take inputs from stakeholders and organize them into requirements for project plans and initiatives
- Understand the delivery processes of our customers and find ways to optimise and improve delivery process
- Interact regularly with other parts of the organisation in a proactive and constructive wayWho you are
- 3-5+ years hands-on experience with Tableau platform
- Excellent grasp of Tableau concepts, architecture and troubleshooting methodology
- SQL proficiency along with experience connecting Tableau to databases
- Outstanding communication and customer service orientation
- Experience with Administration of Jira and Confluence is a plus
- Familiarity with cloud-based technology (AWS) is a plus
- Already based and entitled to work in the Netherlands
