    Bilthoven Biologicals is een internationaal biofarmaceutisch productiebedrijf. Met circa 500 collega's werken we samen aan de productie van vaccins, zoals polio-, difterie-tetanus-polio (DTP) en BCG. BBio levert vaccins aan onder andere de World Health Organization (WHO) en UNICEF en helpt zo mee aan het wereldwijde programma om polio de wereld uit te helpen. BBio maakt deel uit van de Poonawalla Group, eigenaar van het Serum Institute of India, de grootste vaccinproducent ter wereld. Daarnaast investeert BBio in modernisering en uitbreiding van onze productiecapaciteit.

    Over de afdeling

    Onze afdeling RA beheert de registratiedossiers van alle BBio producten en zorgt ervoor dat veranderingen in het vaccinproductieproces beoordeeld worden. Wanneer een verandering in productie impact op het registratiedossier heeft, bepaalt de afdeling RA in overleg met andere afdelingen de Regulatory strategie om de productiewijziging bij registratieautoriteiten goedgekeurd te krijgen. Het unieke van de RA afdeling van BBio is dat deze zich op hetzelfde terrein bevindt als de GMP productie- en testfaciliteiten. Met andere woorden, er zijn veel directe contacten tussen de collega's van RA en de collega's in de productie; je zit als RA professional als het ware heel dicht bij de farmaceutische actie, namelijk de productie van biologische geneesmiddelen, wat vrij uniek is in Nederland.

    Naast alle activiteiten die direct verband houden met de productie van vaccins, is de afdeling RA verantwoordelijk voor het beheer van artwork voor verpakkingen en bijsluiters, het borgen van farmacovigilantie procedures, en het contact onderhouden met klanten en registratieautoriteiten op zowel nationaal als internationaal niveau. Verder zijn er plannen om bestaande en eventueel nieuwe producten in meer regio's op de markt te gaan brengen, waarin RA een cruciale rol zal spelen.

    Wat ga je doen?

    Afhankelijk van jouw competenties en ervaring ga je als (senior) RA officer met een team van 4-5 andere (senior) RA officers aan de slag in onze kernactiviteiten het opstellen en indienen van registratiedossiers voor het verkrijgen van product registraties in landen wereldwijd

  • het onderhouden van registratiedossiers van geregistreerde vaccins op nationaal en internationaal niveau
  • het initiëren van variatieprocedures n.a.v. change control procedures, gewijzigde regelgeving, of op verzoek van autoriteiten, en het uitvoeren en coördineren van daaruit voortvloeiende acties
  • het kritisch reviewen van bron-documenten van andere afdelingen zoals Quality Control (QC), Manufacturing Science & Technology (MS&T) of Productie zoals validatie-, comparability-, en stabiliteitsrapporten, zodat deze documenten dossierwaardig en geschikt zijn voor indiening bij autoriteiten
  • het verrichten van basis-farmacovigilantie (PV) taken en contact onderhouden met het externe bedrijf dat voor BBio de safety database beheert en de PV hoofdtaken uitvoert
  • het onderhouden van diverse Regulatory IT systemen en creëren van eCTD sequenties

    • Verder signaleer en interpreteer je gewijzigde en/of nieuwe wet- en regelgeving voor geneesmiddelenregistratie wereldwijd en zet je, samen met de Manager RA de strategie uit voor huidige en nieuwe registratieprocedures. Je schrijft procedures die betrekking hebben op de RA afdeling en hebt de eindredactie op alle documenten van het registratiedossier
