    Engineering Manager

    As part of our continuous growth, we are seeking a seasoned Engineering Manager to lead three engineering teams.

    Our team of approximately 90 engineers is working in small scrum teams. Each team has end to end responsibility for a specific product or part of our architecture. We work on a remote-first basis, coming together in person at our Amsterdam headquarters twice a year.

    Our organizational structure is flat, placing a high value on independence and entrepreneurship. The atmosphere is informal and relaxed, creating a highly motivating work environment in which you will work with some of the most inspiring colleagues in the industry.

    Responsibilities:

    As one of four Engineering Managers, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the technical direction and success of our cloud hosting solutions. You will lead and guide three engineering teams FTE total) each with its own Agile Team Lead and Product Owner, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. This role reports to the Director of Engineering for Leaseweb Global.

    Your responsibilities include:

    1. Together with the rest of the management team, you will develop and execute strategic plans to align the engineering teams with Leaseweb's technical and business objectives.
    2. Facilitate effective collaboration between the engineering teams and other departments, ensuring seamless communication and coordination across projects and initiatives.
    3. Work closely with Team Leads and Product Owners to ensure the successful planning, execution, and delivery of customer deliveries and roadmap items.
    4. Uphold and drive technical excellence within the teams, ensuring adherence to industry best practices, security standards, and Leaseweb's quality benchmarks.
    5. Provide mentorship, coaching and professional development for Team Leads, Product Owners and team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

    Our ideal candidate:

    Strong technical background with expertise in cloud infrastructure, networking and/or related technology

    Proven experience as an Engineering Manager, preferably in a hosting, cloud services or highly technical environment.

    Demonstrated success in leading multiple engineering teams with their respective Team Leads and Product Owners.

    Excellent leadership and communication skills.

    You embrace agile ways of working.
