De verzekeringstechnische risico's omvatten premie- en reserverisico, AOV- en WIA-risico, catastroferisico, levenrisico en zorgrisico.
FRM ontwikkelt en onderhoudt tevens de methodologie van het partieel intern model, dat voor Solvency II berekeningen gebruikt wordt.De werkzaamheden van FRM hebben een directe impact op Achmea, zijn zeer uitdagend en doen een beroep op je wiskundige inzicht. Binnen de afdeling kun je sparren over nieuwe ideeën en er is volop ruimte om je verder te ontwikkelen.
In de rol van Financial Risk Manager heb je een actieve rol bij de opstelling, implementatie en handhaving van beleid voor de beheersing van de marktrisico's, verzekeringstechnische risico's, tegenpartijrisico en liquiditeitsrisico. Dit doe je door het formuleren van verbetervoorstellen, bijvoorbeeld voor het monitoren, door het opstellen van beleidsdocumenten en het berekenen van risico's door middel van (kapitaal)modellen. Hiervoor voer je risicoanalyses uit. Vanuit je functie leer je alle details van het marktrisicomodel kennen. Je overlegt en deelt je kennis met andere specialisten. Je draagt bij aan het contact met DNB op het terrein van financiële risico's en het interne model Achmea is de grootste verzekeringsgroep in Nederland. FRM is de tweede lijns risico management afdeling van Achmea voor de financiële risico's: marktrisico's, verzekeringstechnische risico's, tegenpartijrisico en liquiditeitsrisico. FRM heeft als doel de effectieve beheersing van de financiële risico's en de optimalisatie van het risicoprofiel ten behoeve van duurzame waarde creatie. FRM ondersteunt daarin de optimalisatie van risico-rendementsafwegingen. Het FRM team hecht aan het onderhouden van een hoogwaardig kennisniveau.
