    We have been specializing in journey tracking for 20 years. It's something we're good at and proud of. RouteVision is a Dutch company. Back in 2002, we started working towards our ambition of developing a highly effective mileage and journey recording system. Today, thousands of companies worldwide work with RouteVision. Many of them have been customers for more than 10 years.
    RouteVision is there to help freelancers and SMEs with large vehicle fleets.

    Our business is one in which building relationships and working with others on a team plays an important role.

    The position requires a skilled individual who has to be patience along with having great written communications and listening skills.

    This individual has the confidence to speak with senior executives, and colleagues. Driven to perform with negotiating skills, results-oriented and willing to do what it takes to get results. You have excellent functional/technical skills with the capability to have composure at stressful times. If you are customer focused and are an enthusiastic energetic self-starter. You are extremely organized and do not let details slip through the cracks.

    You are a collaborative individual, who likes to put forward suggestions and ideas on how to improve the status quo.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
    As an important member of our Finance team you will:


    • Keep track of assigned accounts to identify outstanding debts
    • Plan course of action to recover outstanding payments
    • Negotiate payoff deadlines or payments plans
    • Update account status and database regulary
    • Reporting Monthly to Business Unit Managers on AR Metrics and AFDA concerns
    • Manage the allowance of doubtful account provision quarterly and prepare required reporting
    • Approve and apply credits on customer accounts
    • Reconcile customer accounts as requested
    • Manage and train your colleagues and teach them all the ins and outs of credit management.
    • Other duties as required

    JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Previous B2B collections experience of at least 7 years
    • Excellent communication skills (French language is not a requirement, but it is an advantage).
    • Knowledge of relevant legal requirements in the Netherlands and Belgium
    • Ability to work under tight deadlines and meet performance targets as established by management
    • Have successfully completed intermediate level courses in Accounting
    • Strong Skills and experience in MS Office Excel (Exact Online is preferred)
    • Solid administrative and organizational skills with ability to adjust and respond professionally to changing priorities and ad hoc issues
    • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
    • Experience with Great Plains accounting software an asset
