    Job Description

    Reporting directly to the Head of EMENA Communications, you will own and drive multi-channel initiatives spanning external and internal communications, enhancing the reputation of ofi across the region externally and embedding a new employee value proposition internally.

    Understanding ofi's strategy, values and culture, you will be building reach, connection, and engagement with a diverse range of employees.

    What you will do:
    • Collaborate with the Head of Communications EMENA to deliver PR and social campaigns (particularly within the B2B ingredients and sustainability media) aligned with business strategy.
    • Work alongside the Head of Communications EMENA to collaborate with the regional leadership team and HR to identify and implement communications strategies so that employees understand the corporate strategy, are inspired by our Purpose, and live our values.
    • Create, activate, and manage regional campaigns on realofi (ofi's Workplace channel) to boost uptake and engagement, including to embed the new employee value proposition.
    • Take a creative approach to internal communication channels - particularly how to connect with hard-to-reach employees - and ensure that key events and news across ofi are promoted in the region.
    • Manage town hall meetings and internal webinars, including identifying topics and content, setup, hosting, and surveys.
    • Work closely with the Global Employee Engagement Manager to support the activation of global initiatives in EMENA.
    • Collaborate with in-country communications teams to support a consistent and timely cascade of information.
    • Ensure external and internal communications are aligned and complementary.
    • Work with colleagues to establish a system to monitor the landscape / horizon scan for Europe.
    • Measure and evaluate external and internal communications to demonstrate return on investment for the business.
    Required Skills and Experience
    • Degree educated, preferably in a related field (e.g. communications, marketing, business management, etc.).
    • Excellent command of English. Written capability in another language e.g. German, Dutch, French or Spanish is desirable.
    • Ability to work in a global matrix organization and juggle workloads to deliver high-impact campaigns, including communications campaigns through "offline" communications channels.
    • 5 years' relevant experience:
      • Successfully delivering multi-channel campaigns.
      • Drafting media materials: for instance, press releases, factsheets, opinion articles, messaging documents.
      • Skilled at pitching ideas to media and managing a press office.

    Experience of working within the food and beverage industry is desirable, but not essential.

    • Highly detail-oriented, organized, and analytical.
    • Interpersonal skills – working well with others and communicating effectively with senior leadership, key influencers, and cross-functional teams.
    • Able to quickly understand and articulate what employees need to know, feel, and do. Able to distil complex ideas into simple, honest, and compelling communications.
    • Self-starter – you enjoy building things from the bottom up. We are a fast-paced, nimble environment. Being able to adapt, remain calm under pressure, and drive progress within ambiguity is key.
    • Technical skills: Highly competent with MS Office Suite i.e. Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams

    On occasion you may be travelling within EMENA region. You are willing and able to do so. When necessary, you show flexibility to work across different time zones.
