    In this important role you will cover a broad variety of responsibilities, focusing on operational and executional task to understand and escalate local market insights, to prepare annual marketing plans, and to activate marketing programs according to the local sales calendar and brand contribution objectives. As a member of the local leadership team you have the great opportunity to contribute to Medela's success. We are looking for an experienced Marketeer with B2B background, strong analytical skills and a hands on mentality.

  • Initiate and plan local marketing objectives in close collaboration with the Country Head, Trade Activation Manager, Sales Team and the EU Marketing Team
  • Activate, validate and adapt Global and EU Toolkits for your respective market in dutch and french, and ensure delivery of all relevant marketing materials in time
  • Liaising with Country Head to build and maintain relationships with KOL's for the professional care categories and represent Medela in local conferences and educational events
  • Gather, analyze and share market trends, competitor and consumer information to alert to changes in the marketplace and drive action on corrective initiatives and adjust marketing plans to develop meaningful product and business innovations
  • Own marketing budget allocation and adhere to local marketing budgets
  • Conduct portfolio performance reviews, and understand and influence (marketing relevant) drivers of sales, and A&P expenditure
  • Engage actively in the EU marketing community to share Best Practices and steal-with-pride from the other markets
  • Identify new areas of growth given annual gap analysis of market models

    • What you bring along

  • Marketing expert, with at least 5 years of experience that include operational marketing execution in strong collaboration with sales and stakeholders in Cluster and EU marketing-
  • Proven track record of excellent marketing activation behind globally / regionally deployed initiatives (such as product launches and brand building campaigns) as well as developing and launching locally relevant projects
  • Professional roots in Medical Devices (B2B) and/or in the Consumer Health Care Industry (OTC, cosmetics, nutrition, Medical Device), or FMCG highly appreciated
  • Business acumen and ability to translate Business needs into Marketing activities
  • Fluency in Dutch and English, French is beneficial
  • Initiative-driven organization talent with strong project management skills
