Tzu-Jou Huang

My interests lie in creating meaningful and consistent user experiences and user-system interaction by bridging
the boundaries between humans, design, and technology. I am an enthusiastic designer/researcher with strong
technical affinity. I enjoy working with users/stakeholders in each phase of research, design and development
using creative design thinking toolkits for user-friendly innovation.
My role in a team is to help identify the stakeholder’s needs/behaviors outside-in using the behavior-driven
method and to evaluate the system inside-out through test-driven development.

I had diverse work experiences in the Netherlands, Spain, and Taiwan, which provided me with good skills in giving insights from different perspectives within various work cultures and multidisciplinary collaboration through multiple lenses. I worked as a product designer in a product development team at a high-tech start-up in the Netherlands. To generate functional goals and requirements for product development within a limited time, I implemented design thinking methods like workshops and user research in generating stakeholder requirements, which eventually received positive outcomes in delivering commercial branding products concerning engineering constraints. For consumer-facing product design experiences, I had work experience as a product designer in Barcelona and as a digital designer in Taiwan. With these experiences, in the design development process, I can adaptively integrate stakeholders' needs into business values and technical constraints via various creative and analytical design thinking and realization skills.

I complete my master in industrial design at TU/e focusing on UX and interaction design
